What the AI Scanner actually does
Photograph a shelf and the AI Scanner (Beta) suggests which of your products it can see. It is an assistant, not an auditor: every suggestion is queued for your review and nothing reaches the stocktake until you approve it. Results vary with lighting, shelf layout and how complete your product library is, and a full stocktake can be completed without ever using it.
Where the time actually goes
The saving is not magic recognition — it is the removal of the write-up stage. Lines are costed as they are entered, so approving the stocktake produces the variance and GP reports directly instead of starting a spreadsheet.
