What AI Scanner does today
Point your camera at a shelf you can see clearly and AI Scanner proposes products it believes it can recognise, together with a suggested quantity. Those suggestions appear in a review list. Nothing is written into your stocktake until you accept it.
- Suggestions only — never an automatic write into a stocktake
- Every line is editable before it is accepted
- Rejected suggestions are discarded and can be counted in CountFlow
What affects results
AI Scanner is in Beta and its usefulness varies. Clear, well-lit, single-deep shelves with products already in your library give the best results. Dim lighting, stacked or overlapping stock, unfamiliar labels and partially hidden products reduce what can be recognised.

What AI Scanner is not for
It does not measure liquid levels for you, it does not count kegs, cellar bulk or anything it cannot see, and it is not a replacement for a counting method. Use CountFlow for those lines, or Smart Sheet Capture if you prefer to count on paper first.
You can complete a stocktake without it
AI Scanner is optional. CountFlow and Smart Sheet Capture are the two supported ways to complete a full stocktake, and both feed the same evidence, approval and variance workflow.
